General Overview: The Cook
A useful skill for sure, some have a lot more talent for this than others, and some could even call this an Ability. Since not all uses of abilities are fighting or adventuring, cooking can be useful in the right places or contests of skill. Cooking has an odd effect when paired with other abilities. A mechanic, for example, may "cook" by building a chocolate fountain. This would be both a mechanic and cook skill. Each ability has a different effect on cooking. Here are some examples.
- An Alchemist uses Alchemy to combine ingredients without the need for cookware.
- A Mechanic creates some kind of cooking device or utensils.
- A Mage uses fire magic to cook some meat.
- A Summoner uses a group of monsters to help cook a lot of food.
- An Enchanter enchants food to be tastier.
- And others.

Skill or Ability?: There is a simple test. to get a Mimicopy and have them try to copy an ability from the person in question. If they get a little bit better at cooking the person in question has the ability. To define what is happening, a person's ability influences innate skill, but a person can gain this ability from learning or training. With the ability a person will find it easier to learn how to cook and prepare food, without it they need to work harder to learn the skills. A person with a high enough cooking skill can unlock some cooking ability too. The difference between the ability and skill is a difficult thing to measure, however hard work does not go unrewarded. A person with no skill would only be able to make some basic dishes, so it is usually that a person who has both Ability and skill will become he king of the kitchen. Measuring the point at which someone becomes an ability user is difficult since it varies from person to person. Because of this, this ability is partially measured by how well a person can cook. This is one of the few abilities that are learned.
